"Enterprise" Webhost
EDIS Enterprise hosting is designed for customers who need guaranteed high performance, dedicated resources without oversubscription and a dedicated technical contact.
PHP resources
Maximum script runtime: 15 minutes for web requests and 60 minutes for PHP CLI
PHP memory: 1 GB per web process and 2 GB for PHP CLI
The plan provides resources for demanding e-commerce applications. It includes a free domain and focuses on high availability, fast time to first byte and access to your technical contact.
SSL and monitoring
Free SSL certificates are available as needed. Monitoring runs 24/7/365 and includes external enterprise content checks through SolarWinds Pingdom.
Backups
All data, including email, is backed up daily. Daily backup versions are retained for up to 30 days.
HTTP/2
HTTP/2 is included at no extra charge and can be activated in the management portal. It supports header compression and server push to improve page delivery.
SSH and custom PHP settings
The SSH environment allows a PHP memory limit of 2 GB (2048 MB) and a maximum execution time of 3,600 seconds (one hour), supporting demanding tasks such as Composer. Use your own .user.ini files to customise PHP settings.
Included domain
Choose one free domain from these extensions: .at, .co.at, .or.at, .ch, .de, .eu, .com, .net or .org.
Guaranteed resources
20 GB RAM and up to 100 simultaneous PHP processes. Each PHP process may use up to 1,024 MB of the available RAM.
During normal operation, the load-balanced cluster runs on two servers, each providing 20 GB RAM and up to 100 simultaneous PHP processes. During maintenance or a server failure, the service falls back to the guaranteed resources stated above.
File storage
The hosting filesystem supports up to 580,000 files. Three S3 buckets of 300 GB each are included free of charge, with no limit on the number of stored files. If your software supports Amazon S3, EDIS recommends its NVMe-based S3 buckets to improve application performance.
Optional Elasticsearch
An Elasticsearch search server can speed up search queries. Depending on the application, search queries may be up to 100 times faster. Free test instances are available on request.
