Messages are queued on the EDIS backup infrastructure in Germany. Once your SMTP service is available again, the queued messages are forwarded to your server.

How to set up MX Backup

Provide your domain name when ordering. Add mailbackup.edis.at as a secondary MX record in your DNS zone, with a lower delivery priority than your primary mail server. Contact our support team if you need help with the configuration.
