Anycast DNS with DNSSEC

Globally distributed nameservers
Two independent DNS networks
High availability and DDoS resilience
DNSSEC included
No extra charge with EDIS domain registration

The Domain Name System (DNS) connects your domain to the servers that handle your website and email. Reliable DNS is therefore essential to keeping your business reachable.

EDIS uses Anycast DNS across two independent, globally distributed networks. Queries are spread across multiple locations, improving availability and helping absorb traffic spikes and attacks on the DNS service.

Reliable DNS resolution for your domain

How Anycast DNS works

Multiple nameservers share the same IP address. Routing directs each query to a reachable network location. If one location fails, other nameservers can respond. This shortens network paths and improves DNS resilience.

DNSSEC included

DNSSEC adds digital signatures to DNS records. Validating resolvers can check that a response is authentic and has not been altered. Enable DNSSEC in the DNS panel. Our telephone support team can help.

Global DNS, web hosting in Austria

Anycast nameservers answer DNS queries worldwide. Website data and business emails in EDIS Austrian web hosting are stored in Austria.
